Regis Philbin Gets Stitches; Kelly Ripa Gets Crutches!

Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripaalways begin their show, Live With Regis and Kelly by telling personal stories. Well, on Monday they had a of explaining to do when Regis showed up with stitches and Kelly was sporting crutches. 

Kelly made her way onto set with crutches and had to have Regis help her into her chair, the Huffington Post reports.

So what happened?

After several visits to doctors Regis recommended to her, Kelly learned she has a stress fracture in her hip. Now she can’t exercise for three to six weeks and said, ” I just have to sit down.”

As for Regis, he also had a medical emergency to share with the audience. Regis sliced his hand open while cutting open a package with a box cutter and needed four to five stitches.
